The 43-year-old singer was recently interviewed by TMZ and asked to share his dating advice for individuals who have recently experienced a divorce.
“When’s the right time to date again after going through a divorce?”
The interview questioned Ne-Yo.
The singer replied.
“It depends on the person. It depends on you — everybody’s timeline ain’t the same. Some people get quick, some people take a little time. It’s up to you..”

The Singer Shared Where He's At In His Romantic Life
Ne-Yo then went on to explain where he’s currently at in his dating life since his divorce from ex-wife Crystal Renay was finalized.
“I’m in a space where I’m happy. I’m in a happy place, so I’m dating now — I don’t give a d**m. I’m good.”
When asked if he’s dating one particular person, Ne-Yo replied that he’s “moving around.”
“I’m moving around — I’m enjoying the scene a lot.”
The singer shared that he’s receiving a lot of Instagram DM’s these days. Additionally, he even explained that he’s open to dating one of his fans.
Yeah… that part doesn’t matter to me.”

Ne-Yo Also Explained The "Plight" Of Dating As A Celebrity
Before the interview concluded, the singer was asked if he ever has difficulty finding potential partners on his “level.”
“I honestly don’t even trip off things like that. Somebody on my level kind of understands the plight of what I go through just as a celebrity or whatever… But at the same time, we’re weirdos — us celebrities…”
The singer explained that he prefers dating “normal people.”
“I like normal people, so I normally just be going for like regular people.”
