The Barbz will finally get a chance to enter the gates of ‘Gag City’ as Nicki Minaj launches her tour today (March 1). The ‘Pink Friday 2’ world tour kicks off in Oakland, California — just under three months after the album’s release.

Dolce & Gabbana Gifts Nicki Minaj Custom Pieces Ahead Of Tour
Nicki kicked off the excitement by showing her Instagram and X following how Dolce & Gabbana came through ahead of the tour! The luxury fashion house designed a custom black T-shirt to compliment Nicki’s lyrics in the song ‘FTCU.’ They also custom-designed accessories for the Head Barb, such as sunglasses and hoop earrings! She expressed her gratitude in posts on Feb. 29.
“AMORE @dolcegabbana @piergiorgio.meschini. Thank you for this ICONIC TSHIRT, custom shades & all the other custom pieces. Soooo thankful. #GAGCity,” she wrote on Instagram.
Dolce’s Piergiorgio Meschini also appeared in a video alongside Nicki, confirming the pieces are one-of-one and for the “Barbie” only!

Shows On Shows & Rehearsals For The Queen Barb
Aside from collecting custom pieces, Minaj has been largely focused on preparing to take the stage as a tour headliner for the first time since her 2016 ‘The Pinkprint Tour.’
In February, she shared snippets of herself at rehearsals and even a sneak peek at the Gag City stage set-up and songs that might make the tour cut.
Nicki Minaj has also been adding dates to the highly-anticipated tour, both in the U.S. and abroad. She shared the most updated list of cities she’ll be touring in on X on Feb. 29. So far, she has 56 shows on the tour, with multi-shows in some cities and a note of “more dates to be added.”
