Racquel Smith Was Previously Married Before A Tragic Loss
If you’re familiar with Racquel Smith, then you already know she’s a widow after losing her husband, New Orleans Saints football player Will Smith. He was fatally shot in 2016 following a road rage incident. TMZ reports that Racquel also suffered injuries during the attack. Authorities later convicted the person responsible, and they are now serving time in prison.
In April 2021, Racquel shared an emotional Instagram post on the anniversary of her husband’s passing. She told her followers it had been five years without him and thanked him for giving her some of the best years of her life.
