According to an article published by the Daily Mail on Wednesday, the outlet obtained an exclusive copy of the baby boy’s birth certificate.

The infant’s name is reportedly RZA Athelston Mayers.

The outlet reports that the name honors producer, rapper, and leader of the Wu-Tang clan, RZA. According to IMDb, the rapper’s real name is Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.

The news that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby boy is named after an iconic rapper is unsurprising.

According to Vulture, A$AP Rocky’s first name is Rakim, and he is named after the popular 80’s rapper who is also one half of the Eric B. & Rakim duo.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s baby boy has also taken his father’s last name, Mayers.

According to the child’s reported birth certificate, he was born on May 13, 2022. Therefore, he will celebrate his first birthday in just a few days, on Saturday, May 13.

Additionally, RZA was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

It’s important to note that Rihanna has also dropped some hints regarding her son’s name. Recently, she was seen sporting a Wu-Tang Clan shirt while out with her family.
