Royce Reed ended 2024 and started 2025 by dragging her son’s father, Dwight Howard. Note that she was careful not to use his actual name. However, social media quickly connected the dots given that she nicknamed her nine-part video series ‘I Had A Baby By Superman.’ Howard had seemingly been taking the high road with her exposé. In an exclusive statement to The Shade Room, he wished her “the best peace,” but Royce continued dropping her videos.
Meanwhile, he was sharing moments with his fiancée, Amy Luciani. In one viral video, he clocked trolls warning her about his past. And she’s already made it clear: she’s sticking beside him! Amid her exposé, Royce Reed is now asking the public for financial donations.
Royce Reed Reacts To Dwight’s Cease-And-Desist Letter
Behind the scenes, though, it looks like Dwight Howard wants to shut down Reed’s storytime energy. On January 3, she posted the alleged cease-and-desist letter a law firm representing Howard sent her on December 31. By that date, Reed had released all nine parts of her narrative on Instagram and TikTok, which includes allegations of abuse.
The letter said that Howard retained Adam Gleklen from the Georgia-based Gleklen Law Firm. It accused Royce of making “escalating statements and potentially defamatory statements” about her ex. Additionally, it says that she’s misrepresenting his personal life and fabricating stories. Royce Reed, per the letter, has until January 7 to retract her false statements in the same manner she made them. She also has until January 7 to remove her ‘I Had A Baby By Superman’ series and other forms of the allegations from all media sources. If she refuses to comply, the letter is threatening legal action.
“To be clear, you must immediately cease and desist from making any false statements or allegation and should immediately issue a public apology,” the letter states.
In her caption on TikTok and Instagram, Royce went IN, suggesting that the letter proves the points she made in her series about him coming after her in court. She also seemingly implied — without naming him — that her ex was a coward.
“Welp! We knew this was coming. I guess it’s too many ppl on my side now… Ants just crawling up that leg… #bitbybite 🤣🤣🤣 #ceaseanddesist WHAT MOOOORE DO YOU WAAAAANNNNTTTT FROM MEEEEE?! I guess you’re going to send the whole world a cease and desist huh? COWaaaarrrrrrddd!”
Additionally, on TikTok, she posted a video trolling the letter with a popular voiceover. In the video, she wrote, “Story of my life…When I take it to my level, it’s ‘too much.'” The caption, though, says, “But it was ok when you were out here lying on me! Whew! Queue up: @killumantii – Anger Issues.”

Royce Starts A GoFundMe & Continues Dragging Dwight
Amid her trolling the legal threat, Royce Reed also started a GoFundMe account. Her initial goal was to raise $3,500. However, since sharing it on her Instagram Stories on January 3, Reed has bumped the goal up to $10,000. As of Saturday (Jan. 4), she’s raised over $2,000. In the fundraiser bio, she claimed she’s dealt with “harassment, threats, defamation, and career loss” throughout the last 17 years.
Also, Reed said she’s considered taking her life with sleeping pills or running off an overpass but has ultimately relied on her village. She claimed that Dwight Howard took her savings, her mother’s savings, and her dignity but continued to “harass and belittle” her.”

The lengthy bio continues with allegations against Howard, though she is careful not to name him. She claimed that he recently spoke to their 17-year-old son, Braylon Howard, via PlayStation and bad-mouthed her to the point that Braylon “went off.”
“I have worked since I was 16! But the bills I’ve accumulated dealing with this man are insurmountable. That’s where my courage came from. That’s why I chose to speak. But also because there’s a new agreement. I am now being threatened with yet ANOTHER LAWSUIT because they want to take away my voice again and silence me. My voice that is being backed up by a choir now of witnesses and victims and a congregation full of support. I humbly come to you to say that while I am a substitute teacher, after-school gymnastics teacher, and I just reopened my dance company at a community center, I need help. We need help. So although my name may be elevated right now, I’m still an average woman out here fighting for her family,” Royce wrote in her GoFundMe fundraiser.

In a new video shared to her ‘Superman’ series page and TikTok, she explained why she decided to air out her son’s father by sharing a relatable example. Her caption dragged Howard as a “womanizer…narcissist…master manipulator” without naming him. She also warned him about coming for her legally and said her lawyer plans to fight back.
“LEAVE ME TF ALONE! I’m trying to tell you. I have A LOT more,” Royce wrote on the clip.

Dwight Howard Reacts To The Internet Warning Amy Luciani About His Past
Ahead of 2025, Dwight used his own voice to shut down trolls, but it had nothing to do with Royce! Instead, he addressed the internet’s ongoing warnings about his past for his fiancée, Amy Luciani. While on Instagram Live on December 30, he clapped back at one user who wrote, “Amy, you don’t know what that man did in his past.”
“That’s why this person who wrote that comment will never get blessed like they’re supposed to. They talking ’bout my past. Everybody in the world got a past, but guess what? When you get into a relationship with somebody, you don’t bring the past into the relationship,” Dwight Howard replied on camera.

He added that the “past is the past for a reason” and proceeded to READ DOWN the IG user. “Somebody like you will be stuck in the past for the rest of your life. And you won’t get the benefits and the blessings you’re supposed to get because you’re worried about someone else and you’re worried about the past too much. Let it go.”
Amy was in the background, cheering her man on as he kept talking about leaving incidents from 2024 and years before in the past.
“Whatever happened to me in 2024, it ain’t coming with me to 2025. Whatever happened to me in 2023, it didn’t come with me in 2024. Move along. Why would I keep something with me from over a decade ago? I’m not carrying that weight with me. I’m letting it go so I can be blessed.”
For context, Dwight’s sexuality has been a focal conversation since Lil Scrappy spilled the beans on their engagement in December. In August 2024, a man dropped a lawsuit against Dwight that accused the pro-baller of allegedly forcing him into a sexual threesome. Given that the suit was dismissed with prejudice, the man who sued cannot refile it.
