Jordanna Barrett Took To Instagram On Wednesday To Pay Tribute To Her Daughter

On Wednesday, Jordanna Barrett took to Instagram to share a special photo post dedicated to the couple’s daughter Arrayah Sue Barrett.

The post featured a photo of the child from her second birthday. In the picture, Arrayah Barrett is wearing a baby shark shirt and a pink tutu.

In the photo’s caption, Barrett thanked the world for their condolences. However, she explained, “Our world will never be the same.”

“Thank you all for all the messages, flowers, thoughts and prayers. Our world will never be the same. Arrayah was the apple of my eye, and my heart will forever be with hers.”

Barrett then went on to address her daughter.

“I love you so much my baby. I am so so sorry. Until we see each other again, please watch over your siblings and momma and dada. We love you forever and ever and always. I can’t wait to see that precious smile again, and just hug you so close. I would do absolutely anything. There is no Barrett 6 without you, and we will forever hold your place down here, until we all meet again in heaven. I love you forever and always.”

Before concluding the post, Barrett inserted a URL link directed toward her daughter’s obituary.

The notice recounted the child’s impact on her family’s lives.

“Arrayah’s smile brought so much joy to anyone who encountered her. Everybody knew that Arrayah had her daddy wrapped around her finger and was the sunshine in her mama’s eyes. There was something about that sweet and sassy voice that just made your heart sing. Arrayah’s energy was unmatched. She loved to sing. She loved to laugh. She was SO smart. Arrayah Barrett had HER way with everyone. There was a sparkle in her eyes that drew your attention. Her endearing nature was so kind and magnetic…”

Furthermore, the notice included information regarding the child’s funeral, which will be held on Friday, May 5.

“A private funeral service will be held this Friday, May 5. In lieu of donations, the Barrett family is requesting all in attendance to honor Arrayah’s memory by wearing bright colors on Friday.”

Amid his wife’s public message, Shaquil Barrett has remained silent on social media. The football player’s most recent Instagram post features a separate photo of Arrayah from her second birthday.

“Happy 2nd bday to my cutie girl. So sweet and cute. You made our family complete. I love you baby girl😘😘 #TGBTG #BIG2”

As The Shade Room previously reported, the Buccaneers released an official statement via Twitter after news of Arrayah’s death was publicly revealed.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Shaq, Jordanna and the entire Barrett family during this unimaginably difficult time. While no words can provide true comfort at a time such as this, we offer our support and love as they begin to process this very profound loss of their beloved Arrayah.”

More Details About The Barrett Family & Investigation Into Their Daughter's Death

As The Shade Room previously reported, Shaquil and Jordanna Barrett share three other children in addition to their daughter Arrayah.

Authorities have thus far concluded that the two-year-old fell into the family’s Tampa Bay residence pool around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. As previously reported, the child was rushed to a nearby but could not be revived.

Officials have reportedly labeled the child’s death as a “purely accidental and tragic incident.”
