Shedeur Sanders Gets Picked Up In Fifth Round Of NFL Draft
ESPN confirmed that the Cleveland Browns traded up in the fifth round of the NFL draft to grab Shedeur Sanders at No. 144. The outlet also pointed out that Sanders becomes the second quarterback that the Cleveland Browns have selected.
The Browns’ pick-up of Shedeur came after a long wait that had social media in an uproar. He was passed over on the first and second day of the draft. Subsequently, celebrities like President Donald Trump, Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, Meek Mill, and others felt that the NFL intentionally overlooked him.

Video footage surfaced showing Shedeur and his family waiting patiently to find out which team would draft him during a livestream. He appeared alongside his brothers, Deion Sanders Jr. and Shilo Sanders, as well as a whole crew of loved ones.
When the Cleveland Browns picked him, the room erupted in cheers and screams. Shedeur even hit a victory dance with Shiloh.
