Trump couldn’t believe Shedeur wasn’t picked in the first round, especially with his undeniable talent. He even gave a shoutout to Shedeur’s pops, Deion Sanders, reminding folks that athleticism runs deep in their bloodline.
“What is wrong with NFL owners, are they STUPID? Deion Sanders was a great college football player, and was even greater in the NFL. He’s also a very good coach, streetwise and smart! Therefore, Shedeur, his quarterback son, has PHENOMENAL GENES, and is all set for Greatness. He should be ‘picked’ IMMEDIATELY by a team that wants to WIN. On Friday, April 25, the second and third rounds of the NFL draft picked up. However, Shedeur Sanders remained undrafted. On Friday, Deion Sanders jumped into the convo about his son missing the first-round draft pick. Coach Prime shared a video of Shedeur speaking out on Instagram. Even after they passed on him, Shedeur appeared in good spirits. Additionally, he let folks know he’s still locked in and believes the best is yet to come.
“We all didn’t expect this of course. I don’t feel like this happened for no reason. All this is, of course, fuel to the fire. And under no circumstance we all know this shouldn’t have happened. But, we understand we are on to bigger and better things. Tomorrow is a day, we going to be happy regardless,” Shedeur said.
