Black Love! Simone Biles And Jonathan Owens Get Married At Courthouse, Biles Shares Destination Wedding Plans

On the heels of her revelation, Simone hopped on her Instagram Story and responded to some questions she’s received.

First and foremost, she noted that she and Jonathan “will be having a wedding in a couple of weeks.”

She added that they had to legally wed at the Harris County Courthouse of 1910 since their ceremony “will be a destination wedding.”

Simone pointed out, “If we decided to get married here in the U.S., we would not have done the courthouse.”

As for the specifics of her destination wedding, Simone shared that they’ll have around 140 people in attendance. Biles also noted that it’ll feature a champagne, gold, and white color scheme and added that they’re “waiting on a few passports.”

However, she kept the specific location under wraps.

In response to a user asking Simone how many more dresses she’ll be showing off, she responded with a whopping FOUR. After all, she noted, “You only have a wedding once.”

Speaking of four, Simone revealed that she and Jonathan got matching tattoos: “4better, 4worse, 4ever.”

With Simone and Jonathan celebrating this major milestone, we should highlight the newlywed couple’s relationship journey.

The athletes’ story began back in March 2020 after meeting on Raya, a private dating app for noteworthy figures. As a result, Jonathan was right by Simone’s side through some major moves, and he even penned a sweet message to Simone after her U.S. Gymnastics Championship win in mid-2021.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Biles and Owens got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year, and fans have been rootin’ them on and waiting for wedding news ever since.
