Facts You Didn’t Know About Blueface: He Was A Star Quarterback
According to Complex, Blueface was a star quarterback, and Blue reportedly attended a total of five high schools.
Per CapitalXtra, Blueface won the East Valley League Championship in 2014. This, while he attended Arleta High School. Per the outlet, he “allegedly threw 1,234 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2013 and 1,724 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2014.” This, before reportedly moving on to a brief college career.
Blueface Facts: He “Started Rapping On Accident”
In a 2019 interview with ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Blueface explained that he “started rapping on accident.”
“I just found myself in the studio for the first time in my life,” he said. “I was just chilling around, and then I said, ‘S**t, why not just get in the booth? I want to hear my voice in this s**t, so.'”
After he heard his voice, he took it seriously “from that day.”
“So that’s when I started doing promo, and s**t on my own,” he said, before recalling his first day in the studio. “I had written something down. [But] nobody even knew I was writing, though. That’s how in tune I was. I was just doing my own lil’ thing, and once I heard my s**t, I was sold. [I was like] I’m a rapper.”
