Tory Lanez Wants George Gascón To "Do What Is Fair And Right"

On Friday, Lanez shared an Instagram video that contained voicemail audio of the rapper addressing Gascón.

Within his message, Lanez accused prosecutors of “misus[ing] their authority.” Additionally, he announced that he “was completely robbed and deprived of a fair trial.”

Lanez also said he owed his efforts to “the hundreds of thousands of Black and Hispanic minorities that cannot adequately fight for themselves.”

After alleging that the prosecution “manipulated a false narrative,” he asked the DA to “do what is fair” as he prepares to fight for a new trial.

“I come to you as a wrongfully convicted Black man, not asking for sympathy, nor compassion, but for you to simply do what is fair and right by the laws of California, and most importantly in the eyes of God.”

In the caption, Lanez proclaimed, “If this INJUSTICE can happen to ME, it’s happening to so many more MINORITIES.”

“EVERYONE please let [George Gascón] know that I deserve my freedom and a fair trial. If this INJUSTICE can happen to ME, it’s happening to so many more MINORITIES that don’t have the finances or VOICE to speak up.”

Following this initial post, Lanez also shared a transcribed version of his message in a separate upload.

Beneath this post, he blasted the prosecution with a scathing message.

“Until my court date I’ll be posting the OUTRAGEOUS & DISGUSTING INJUSTICES used against me by the PROSECUTION to get the conviction they so DESPERATELY wanted, DESPITE the evidence they knew existed.”

Megan Thee Stallion Is Leaving The Matter In The Past

Of course, we should note that this situation follows Megan speaking on the Tory Lanez matter for “the final time.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, Megan recently opened up about how she went about healing her trauma from the shooting.

After acknowledging how some of her peers “piled” onto the drama, she addressed Lanez’s alleged role in the chaotic aftermath. She said that Lanez “laughed and joked” about the ordeal as he “peddled false narratives about what happened on the night of July 12, 2020.”

Megan went on to note that she never intends to publicly speak on the situation again.

“My purpose is for these words to serve as the final time that I’ll address anything regarding this case in the press. I understand the public intrigue, but for the sake of my mental health, I don’t plan to keep reliving the most traumatic experience of my life over and over again. I’m choosing to change the narrative because I’m more than just my trauma.”
