Usher Expresses Interest In Headlining Super Bowl Halftime Show: ‘I’d Be A Fool To Say No’ (Video)

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Usher said he would undoubtedly be interested in performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

“I’d be a fool to say no…”

Usher explained.

He shared that he had the opportunity to grace the halftime stage in 2011 during Super Bowl XLV when he performed “OMG” alongside Will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas.

However, he believes he has the perfect catalog to warrant him as the headliner.

“I think I have a catalog that obviously speaks for itself. So to be able to celebrate on that day — it’s obviously about football, but everyone anticipates the performance…”

Usher went on to explain that after seeing artists like Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Prince perform on the halftime stage, it has definitely been a “bucket list” goal for him.

“How do I make it happen? I’m not certain about that…”

Instagram users quickly agreed with Usher’s “bucket list” goal in the comment section of The Shade Room’s Instagram post recapping the singer’s sentiments.
