Yung Miami has been telling the girlies to secure a Chanel trip since 2023, when she ran up Diddy’s tab at the luxury store! Earlier this year, the former City Girls rapper took her viral shopping experience to the booth, and gave the internet a new slogan: ‘Take Me To Chanel.‘ While fans have been waiting for Caresha to drop the bop, another artist has seemingly been inspired by the same luxury store! Tyla has been teasing her upcoming track ‘Chanel‘ all week, and now Yung Miami is claiming that the South African artist “ran off” with her song.

Tyla Teases Upcoming ‘Chanel’ Song On Social Media
As mentioned, Tyla revealed this week that she cooked up a new track, ‘Chanel.’ But it’s not the first time she’s teased it. On September 8, she dropped a lil’ hint on Instagram while showing off her MTV VMAs look. She wore a vintage Chanel top in the photos, and her caption read: “PUT ME IN CHANELLLLL @mtv Thanks Tygrssssss.”
A few weeks later, on October 2, she shared a video of models Anok Yai and Alton Mason vibing to the unreleased ‘Chanel’ song. While Yung Miami’s song involves repetition of “Take me to Chanel,” Tyla’s version emphasizes the lyrics “You say you love, you’ll put me in Chanel.” On October 11, Tyla again teased the song’s lyrics in the caption of a photodump. The post itself included pictures of the singer wearing the brand. Three days ago, on October 13, she gave fans a live taste of the upcoming song by playfully singing it on the timeline.
After all those teaser posts, Tyla officially announced the release date for ‘Chanel’ on Wednesday (October 15). She told fans the track was available for pre-order ahead of its release next Friday (October 24). “PRE SAVE LINK IN BIO for the girls fighting me onlineeeee!!!! We did our big one,” she added in the caption.
Yung Miami Accuses Tyla Of Stealing Her Song
At first, Yung Miami didn’t put a name on her message, but it soon became clear to fans who her shade was directed at! Her initial tweet on October 16 referred to Tyla as “this girl.” Miami claimed that she “ran off with [her] song.”
“…And ion know how to feel about it mind you I played this song for this girl,” the rapper tweeted.
Two minutes later, Yung Miami followed up with another post that said, “Like…Bitch I’m confused.” After The Shade Room reposted her first tweet on Instagram, Yung Miami confirmed in the comment section that she was speaking about her unreleased track, ‘Take Me To Chanel.’ Though it’s unclear when she planned to drop it, Caresha has been teasing the track for months! She even went viral in March when she used a video of her daughter’s father, Southside, sponsoring a Chanel trip and his lil’ boo at the time, OhSoYouJade, flipped out.
Back on X, Yung Miami dropped several more tweets indicating she was calling out Tyla’s teasers. One post listed both songs, with Miami adding the greater than symbol pointed at hers.

When an X user pointed out that ‘Take Me To Chanel’ “took [her] forever to drop,” Caresha clapped back. She replied, “Don’t matter it’s my mf song!!!” Minutes later, she retweeted a post name-dropping Tyla. She added the comment, “Let’s talk about it!!!”
In a sixth tweet about the songs, Caresha again claimed she played ‘Take Me To Chanel’ for the singer. However, Yung Miami didn’t specify how long ago that happened. She also didn’t say whether she knew about Tyla’s song before the teaser posts these last few weeks.
