This has been a big year in music for Lizzo, who hit the industry with a unique sound and a confidence that is is unstoppable! And it looks like she’s getting the flowers she deserves!
Lizzo now leads the pack in nominations for the 62nd Grammy Awards! Her music has been considered in 8 categories, including the four major categories of song of the year, record of the year, album of the year, and best new artist!
Recently, Lizzo won the Soul Train Award for best soul album, which was met with some pushback by Ari Lennox and some of her fans. But, others say Lizzo’s unique style deserved that win, and the others she may have at the Grammy’s.
Right behind Lizzo in nominations are Billie Elish and Lil Nas X, with six noms each and H.E.R, who racked up five nominations, respectively.
