Roommates, Loni Love recently had to learn the hard way that you should always think before you tweet. Loni sent Nicki Minaj fans into a tailspin when she congratulated her on the birth of her first childand tweeted that it was a baby girl without actually knowing if it was true.
As Nicki Minaj fans were flooding social media with well wishes following the news that she finally gave birth to her first child with husband Kenneth Petty, The Real co-host Loni Love jumped the gun by falsely revealing the babys gender.
In a tweet that she has since deleted, Loni Love wrote:
CONGRATULATIONS @nickiminaj and hubbyblessings to your baby girl!!! #auntieloni
After her tweet quickly went viral, she followed up with this clarification:
I deleted my first tweet about @nickiminaj because I dont know the gendermy old a** thought I saw she had a baby girlthe gender is not known yetcongratulations Mommy and hubby!!! #auntieloni
As we previously reported, sources have revealed that Nicki Minaj gave birth to her and Kenneth Pettys first child on Wednesday in Los Angeles. At the moment that babys name and sex have not been revealed just yet.
Nicki first announced that she and Kenneth were expecting back in July. She released a few photos from her maternity shoot as she showed off her adorable baby bump. She thanked her fans for the well wishes after revealing that she was expecting and said, Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.
