TSR Updatez: The L.A. County D.A’s office is reportedly reviewing assault charges against Tory Lanez for his alleged involvement in the shooting where Megan Thee Stallion was wounded, TMZ reports.
The D.A. is reportedly considering a charge of felony assault after prosecutors asked the LAPD to further investigate the incident. As we previously reported, Tory was charged with possession of a firearm following the incident, and detectives opened an investigation into him, as it was suspected that he was behind the gun that shot Megan.
Megan spoke out about her gun shot wounds just a few weeks back, but did not name anyone as a participant in what happened. More recently, Meg felt the need to show her wounds to the world, after she was seen in the club with a bandage on one of her feet.
“I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK,” she said in an Instagram post. Why would I lie about getting shot? Why are y’all upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to celebrate WAP going number 1.”
As we previously reported, Tory Lanez was being considered a suspect in the shooting of Meg, after a source revealed that Tory allegedly “fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave.”
