Daughters Revealed Luda’s “Overprotective” Side

Luda spoke on the matter during a recent sit-down with Us Weekly.

When it comes to the “hardest thing” about having daughters, Ludacris shared that “just thinking about the future when they [begin] dating” is what gets to him the most. He also added that the experience of raising girls has shed light on how “overprotective of a person” he is.

The “Stand Up” rapper then offered an example about how he didn’t allow Karma to date until she reached adulthood. As a result, he thinks his firstborn is taking her time with finding the one. It’s that or “she’s really good at hiding” her dates, Luda shared.

“I told [Karma] she had to wait till she’s 18. She’s 21 now, and she hasn’t introduced me to a boy yet. So either she’s really good at hiding it, or she’s really taking her time trying to find the right person to bring home to Dad.”

Ludacris Says His Girls Have Him “Wrapped Around Their Little Fingers”

As Luda continued, he proceeded to speak on how his kids have him in the palm of their hand. He also mentioned that the thought of being with his children stays on his mind during tours.

“They all have me wrapped around their little fingers, and [I] just can’t wait to get home from tour and doing shows so that I can put them in my arms.”

Finally, with Luda’s 46th birthday just a few months away, he was sure to add that he’s comforted by “knowing that they’re gonna take care of [him]” in old age. He went as far as to call it “the greatest feeling in the world.”

“And it’s the greatest feeling in the world, knowing that they’re gonna take care of me when I get older!”

He capped this last note off by proclaiming that parents “never know” if they’ll be cared for if relying on sons.
