Roommates, earlier news broke that former Florida Governor, Andrew Gillum was allegedly found in a Miami hotel room “inebriated.” According to the Miami Herald, Police were reportedly responding to a possible drug overdose. If you didn’t catch that tea, you may want to click here.
Andrew has since made. a statement, saying:
“I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends. While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines.”
NOW… since the news broke, there have been A LOT of rumors surrounding what may or may not have happened. One thing for sure is that people have a lot to say about it, and by people I mean political activist, Candice Owens. The conservative correspondent went straight to twitter to spill tea and TEA she spilled. Before we post receipts, this is a great time to mention these are allegations, so please sip wisely!

Unfortunately for @AndrewGillum, his “friend” Travis Dyson, has come forth to reveal that he is no friend, but an open male escort. He also claims that he has never heard of the wedding of which Andrew Gillum speaks of.

She also alleged:
This is the alleged friend that @AndrewGillum claims he was “helping” after a wedding.
He is an openly gay man, whose public profile has very few photos of him clothed.

As we mentioned before, please sip wisely. HOWEVER, we dug a little deeper (because why wouldn’t we) and apparently Travis Dyson (aka the man in the hotel room) has made a statement to a news source, and he said this:
“I personally was not celebrating a wedding. I don’t know if [Gillum] was in town for a wedding. He did not mention that,”
Now, Andrew said he went to a wedding and had “too much to drink” while Travis said, Andrew didn’t mention a wedding. Something ain’t adding up here Roommates!
