Christmas playlists wouldn’t be complete without Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You;” but what about Christmas Season films? Would y’all be here to see a movie based off of the song?!
Well get ready for it because the song is hitting theaters as an animated film!
She broke the news via Twitter:
“A #Dream come true “All I Want For Christmas Is You” will be a movie. I am so thrilled!”
The song, which was written in 1994, was turned into a children’s book! The plot consisted of a little girl who desperately wants a puppy for Christmas. That book will be the baseline for the film. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is set to be released later this year.
