Mariah Gets Real About How She Maintains Her Relationship With Young Thug
Latto and Mariah The Scientist discussed their relationships on Angel Reese’s podcast, ‘Unapologetically Angel.’
Fans of Mariah know that she’s been in a relationship with Young Thug.
In a clip shared by TSR, Angel Reese asks Mariah if it’s tough to maintain her relationship with Young Thug during his prison sentence.
Mariah said her relationship with the rapper feels like long-distance, but she gets to see him in court.
“So, I be going to court.. sometimes I fall asleep in there. But I just go to [breathe] his air,’ Mariah said.
The ‘Spread Thin’ singer expressed her love for Thugger and revealed that maintaining their relationship can be challenging at times.
“He’s been locked up now for longer than we was in a relationship before he got locked up,” the R&B songstress continued.
After TSR shared the clip from Angel’s podcast, Mariah quickly jumped into The Shade Room’s comment section to clarify her statements. The ‘Stone Cold’ artist asked social media users to “chill” with their judgments about her situation.
“FYI, I see what y’all be saying… Nobody wakes up and hopes to have to see somebody they love in court or at a jail every day. Just chill on the judgement. Maybe u would understand if u were in my shoes but I won’t wish that on you. In fact, I’m very optimistic for my own situation,” Mariah wrote.
Latto Reveals If She Plans To Go Public With Her Relationship
Latto also discussed her relationship during the interview with Angel Reese.
The ‘There She Go’ raptress explained why she chooses to keep her relationship private.
“My s**t ain’t no secret to who needs to know. Like mama know what’s up… you feel me,” Latto said.
When Angel asked Latto if she would ever go public with her man, the ‘Put It On Da Floor’ femcee said she feels strongly about keeping that part of her life private.
“I don’t know, I just feel like at this rate, I’m gonna have me a baby in secret. Imma have my [marriage] in secret. Especially just because how they handle my situation too… I just be like, well since y’all know so much, I’mma make sure you know nothing,” Latto continued.
Latto has never confirmed her relationship with 21 Savage. However, fans linked the two romantically after they spotted what looked like 21 Savage’s first name tattooed on her body.
The text appeared to read “Sheyaa,” 21’s real name.
However, in January, a viral clip shared by a hairdresser on X (formerly Twitter) showed 21’s braided hairstyle, revealing the side of his ear. Although the area appeared blurry, viewers still tried to make out the text. Some agreed that the tat appears to read “Alyssa,” which is Latto’s real name.
