Marsai Martin is telling folks online not to put too much on her after they questioned the meaning behind her dress for Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 Gala. Her photos went viral fast, but she was quick to let critics know not to play with her like that.

Marsai Martin Tells Critics To “Keep It Cute” With Comments About Her Dress
The stars showed up and showed out at Ebony’s Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on November 4. But as the looks came rolling in, so did the comments! Folk had plenty to say about Marsai Martin’s dress after photos circulated on X (formerly Twitter). The dress was actually designed by Sebastian Gunawan from the label’s Sign collection inspired by the Taurus zodiac. People started debating whether the gown had devil horns or goat horns, for the goat herself, of course. But Marsai clapped back fast at those trying to throw satanic claims her way.
In a post on her Instagram Story, she told everyone they know her better than that. “Now yall know better … why would I wear some devil horns.” From there, she joked, “Not even a thought of a uterus/fallopian tubes just went straight to satan huh.” Marsai’s clap back jokes didn’t stop there. She also dropped a meme on her Story with her a dog holding a bible and a wooden cross with the caption, “now cut it out.”
