This divorce between Mary J Blige and her estranged husband Kendu Isaacs is starting to get really messy.
Recently Mary filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, and Isaacs is not about to make this an easy one for the songstress.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Isaacs filed for temporary spousal support and thinks that Mary should pay him $129,319 per month. His reasoning has everything to do with Mary being the breadwinner in their relationship.
He was once Mary’s manager, but once she filed for divorce, that quickly ended. Therefore, with the money she has made and continues to make, he feels like she needs to pay up.
He said that she made anywhere from $1.5 million to $5.1 million over the past two years. Last month it was reported that he was trying to get their existing prenup thrown out.
Through all of the drama, Mary still continues to tour and is preparing to release a new album. She recently released a new single entitled, “Thick Of It.”
