Masika Kalysha Is A Rapper Now (Video)

Masika Kalysha is known for being the clapback queen on social media with her scathing reads, but now she wants to be known for her bars.

In case you didn’t know, Masika is the recent social media personality and reality star to enter the rap game and sis is not holding back.

She teased her new song “Masether,” a clear play on Nas’ iconic diss track “Ether,” on her Instagram page Friday ahead of her midnight drop for the visual.

Masika’s new track also borrows from Nas’ song in the production, sampling the classic sound. While it sounds like she’s certainly having her own “Ether” moment, based off of the preview, it wasn’t immediately clear who Masika’s track is aimed at or if it’s just a “if the shoe fits” type of situation.

Joining Blac Chyna and India Love, Masika is just the latest reality star to make her foray into the rap game.

It’s not necessarily an unexpected turn for Ms. “Booked and Busy,” whose endeavors have varied before and after her “Love and Hip Hop” days.

Most recently, she got political–as did many public figures during the 2020 presidential election–calling out Lil’ Pump for his endorsement of Donald Trump.

Masika, a self-described Black Republican, threw her support behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris while saying this election was bigger than taxes.
