Masika Kalysha is responding to folks who’ve been criticizing how she’s been moving following the passing of her estranged husband Jamar Champ. Masika’s latest statements arrive amid footage showing her looking extra cozy with rapper HoodTrophy Bino.
In videos LiveBitez shared, Masika Kalysha set the record straight on where she and Jamar stood and said, no matter what people think, she’s still grieving his loss. She said she and Jamar Champ “separated two years” before he passed and had been co-parenting their daughter.
Masika also spoke on the photos from Jamar’s funeral that recently hit the internet. She said she asked a photographer to initially be there for Jamar’s balloon release and wanted family pics before the funeral. The reality star also called out folks who kept saying she wasn’t crying in the funeral images. She explained she didn’t have to cry in that moment, but she’s been shedding tears ever since Jamar passed.
“And I’ve cried every single f*****g day. I’ve cried more in my entire life in these past 33 days than I have in 33 years,” Masika shared.
Masika Kalysha then clapped back at folks dragging her in the comments for supposedly moving on too fast. She said she’s still handling Jamar’s affairs and reminded everyone they weren’t together before he passed. She added that just because they weren’t together doesn’t mean his death hasn’t affected her.
“That means I’m not suppose to grieve. That means I’m not suppose to hurt. That means I’m suppose to want this to happen?” She added, “This is the absolute last thing that I ever would’ve wanted.”
Masika’s response to the online criticism seemingly comes right after videos of her and HoodTrophy Bino started popping up on social media. What started as a lil’ flirty shoutout on the ‘gram turned into a steamy studio session and even more footage of them looking real cozy in bed. In the most recent video, Masika calls Bino her “bae” and jokes about pulling up on him during a San Diego appearance.
