Whew chile, former Destiny’s Child manager Mathew Knowles just won’t stop spilling the tea about all the allegedly shady things that went down with the group back in the day. This time he has involved two unidentified members of the R&B group Jagged Edge and claims that they were inappropriate with both Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland.
In a recent interview with VLAD TV, Mathew Knowles has potentially exposed something that allegedly happened over 20 years ago. The 67-year-old made some shocking claims about two members of Jagged Edge and their alleged pursuit of Beyoncé and Kelly when the were underage during their Destiny’s Child days and all on tour together.
Promoting his upcoming tell-all book, Mathew said that in retrospect it was a mistake to put Destiny’s Child on tour with Jagged Edge, whose members were about five years older at the time.
Of the alleged incident, Mathew said this:
“Now remember, the girls are minors. They’re 16-years-old the guys are 21, 22-years-old. I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé – and I talk about this in the book in detail – saying that they were constantly being harassed by two other members of Jagged Edge. I couldn’t have that.”
He went on to explain that after the alleged incident occurred, he kicked Jagged Edge off the bus at the very next tour stop. When asked what he did when he found out about the two members being allegedly inappropriate, he said “We won’t talk about that on camera.”
As of now, neither Beyoncé, Kelly nor any members of Jagged Edge have responded to Mathew’s allegations.
