Matt Barnes Publicly Apologizes To His Ex Anansa Sims For Taking Their Breakup Public & His Actions Towards Their Previous Relationship Issues

Back in February, it was revealed that Matt Barnes and Anansa Sims had officially ended their relationship. However, following the news, the two of them battled it out on social media regarding the fallout of their relationship. Now Matt is publicly apologizing to her as they continue to move in a great direction.

Earlier this year, Matt had alleged that he wasn’t able to see their son, however, Anansa said that his claims were not true and that she had not been keeping their son from him. During their social media exchange, Matt claimed that Anansa just wanted money and lied about her whereabouts.

Nonetheless, it looks like they have put all of the drama behind them and are in a better space today as they continue to co-parent their son Ashton.

Earlier this month, Anansa shared on social media that she and Matt were in a better co-parenting position and that they reunited all of their children for some quality time together. She said, “Kids requested and parents delivered. Reunited kids, homeschool, recess reunion. I’m team ‘them’ for life.”

Matt reflected on a recent video he had seen about taking responsibility for the mess-ups you cause in your life. He said, “It made me really want to take a step back and apologize to ex Anansa for taking our breakup public. And when we hit a rocky point, flipping out on her out of emotion, out of hurt, out of anger, out of frustration, a little misunderstanding, but it was wrong for me to do.”
