Missouri father Maurice Fox is facing charges after he told his 6-year-old daughter to attack another child on a school bus. The Ferguson Police Department shared the now-viral surveillance footage showing Maurice instructing his daughter to punch the other student.

Missouri Father Caught On Camera Telling Daughter To Fight Another Child
According to KBTX, the incident between Maurice Fox’s daughter and another child went down on Thursday, Oct. 9. Court docs note that Maurice forced his way onto a school bus with his daughter and told her to repeatedly punch a 7-year-old girl in the head. In the video, he’s heard saying, “This the one? Yeah, do what I told you to do.” He then told the other child, “Don’t put your hands on my daughter no more.” After that, his daughter started hitting the 7-year-old. When she stopped, Maurice told her to keep going, saying, “Again! I want her crying. Again!”
School District Speaks Out Amid Maurice’s Ongoing Case
According to Fox2Now, Maurice Fox has turned himself in to the police and reportedly remains in the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $100,000 bond. The outlet also reports that the prosecutors had been looking for him on an at-large warrant before his arrest. Maurice faces charges that include first-degree harassment, two counts of fourth-degree assault, and trespassing on a school bus. Officials also stated that they found a GoFundMe allegedly created to help cover his legal fees.
After the video of Fox and his daughter went viral, the school district where his daughter attends released a statement addressing the situation. They made it clear that they don’t tolerate anything that threatens the safety of their students or staff.
“Student and staff safety is always our top priority, and we will not tolerate anything that compromises their safety. School buses are an extension of the school campus. Trespassing on a school bus and engaging in the behavior described in this incident are completely unacceptable,” the district wrote in a statement.
