McDonald’s Manager Throws Blender At Customer Following Order Dispute

Whew chile! As we’ve seen time and time again, things get real when it comes to fast food orders. People have been known to argue, fight, vandalize—and now throw blenders, all in the name of a wrong order. That’s what happened when a McDonald’s manager threw a whole blender at a customer during their argument regarding an improper order.

A local Ohio McDonald’s was the scene of the latest fast food incident that resulted in things getting physical. As reported by @Complex, customer Britany Price said she stopped at the McDonald’s drive-thru to order Happy Meals for her children, but once she got the food, she realized the order was incorrect. She then proceeded to go inside the restaurant and wait for an employee to help her, but grew frustrated after waiting for over 30 minutes. Price was so upset that she started throwing bags of food at the manager…and that’s when things really went left.

Apparently, the manager, Nashawnda Johnson, was ready to go toe-to-toe with Price because in response to the food being thrown, she hurled the store’s blender directly at her. The incident left her with a broken nose and a shattered cheekbone, injuries which she now says required surgery and various doctor’s visits.

Price described the incident this way, stating:

“I wasn’t the only one that got frustrated, you know, watching the video we see a lot of people that see me and her talking, trying to resolve the issue and they’re like, I’m not dealing with this, you know, they just left, they didn’t even place their order. I mean, I definitely don’t feel like there would have been a different result. I feel like even if we would have just went verbal back and forth that it still would’ve escalated to something else.”

Johnson, however, tells a different side of the story:

“She’s the one who started this. It would’ve never went down like that if she would have never threw stuff at me.”

Johnson, who worked at the McDonald’s for 10 years, has since been fired. Additionally, while there were no criminal charges filed, Price is currently in the process of filing a civil lawsuit.
