Fans of Meagan Good & DeVon Franklin were stunned to learn that after nearly a decade of marriage, DeVon has filed for divorce. Although there is tons of speculation about who is at fault, the estranged couple breaks their silence and sets the facts straight by letting the public know no one is at fault.
In a joint statement released by People, DeVon and Meagan stated, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected.” The statement continued, “We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
They added, “We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
Although the public is taking the news of the split hard, fans have showered Meagan with tons of support in her latest post on Instagram. One of the comments read, “Prayers for healing to you @MeaganGood. Your spirit is so beautiful and genuine.” Another comment stated, “Be blessed, sis. Take care of yourself and well being. Whatever is best for you, take care.”
Meagan has a lot of positive things to focus her energy on right now. Her new Amazon series, ‘Harlem’ was released earlier this month and has rave reviews. She even received love from DeVon for her performance. On December 2nd, he exclaimed on social media how proud he was of her and how she’s one of the most talented actors on the planet.
