Meek Mill Allegedly Denied Entry At Vegas Cosmopolitan Hotel Due To Prior Scuffle With Security

Roommates, Meek Mill recently took to Instagram in a video, where he was being denied entrance at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas. Based on the video, it seemed as though Meek was being racially profiled, or being denied entry because he’s rapper, but Cosmo employees say that’s not the case.
According to TMZ, sources at Cosmopolitan say there was a prior incident at the hotel where Meek allegedly “fought with security guards”. The source claims Meek became unnecessarily hostile.
However, Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ that Cosmo has a history of denying African-American rappers entry into their hotels, as well as blacklisting them from other Vegas hotels.
“We have learned that the Cosmopolitan maintains a list of African American recording artists who should be denied access for no other reason than their culture and skin color.”
Although Cosmopolitan has not yet released an official statement, Tacopina has officially threatened the hotel with a lawsuit unless it apologizes to Meek and his entourage.
As we previously reported, Meek pulled up to the Cosmo on Saturday and was ordered to stay in his car and drive away. The managers and employees at the hotel refused to give Meek a reason about why he could not be on the premisses, but did say he would be considered trespassing.
We hope everything pans out well for Meek!
