More On Shannon Sharpe’s Firing From ESPN
As The Shade Room previously reported, in April, Shannon Sharpe was accused of rape and sexual assault with a $50 million lawsuit. Ultimately, it was revealed that the suit was filed by a woman named Gabriella Zuniga. In addition, NSFW messages and audio between the pair were released, prompting Sharpe’s lawyer to say the messages were “filled with lies, distortions, and misrepresentations.”
Later that month, it was reported that Sharpe was temporarily stepping away from his role at ESPN, per The Shade Room. Then, earlier this month, it was revealed that the suit against Sharpe would be dismissed with prejudice following an apparent settlement, per The Shade Room. Furthermore, Zuniga even released a statement about stepping away from her work as an OnlyFans model.
Then, on Wednesday, July 30, it was reported that Sharpe and ESPN officially parted ways. Furthermore, Sharpe even addressed the update on his ‘Nightcap’ podcast.
