Megan Thee Stallion Names Tory Lanez As The Person Who Shot Her

Megan Thee Stallion finally put the rumors to bed Thursday night when she took to Instagram Live to reveal that it was Tory Lanez who shot her.

After more than a month since the shooting, it seemed Meg had enough keeping quiet. Minutes before she went live, Megan made a subtweet saying, “Lie one more time and ima quit sparing you” leading people to believe that she was talking about Tory.

Then she went live and went into detail about what happened the night she got shot.

Megan’s near 10-minute rant went over the ridicule she experienced from fans as well as why she kept quiet about the shooting.

At one point, she addressed rumors that she had provoked Tory by getting violence, denying that she ever laid hands on him prior to him shooting her. Megan also denied that the argument between her and Tory was about their mutual friend Kylie Jenner, whose pool party was where the fight began.

Megan also explained why she didn’t immediately tell police what happened the night of the shooting:

Megan said she has spared Tory from being in jail but now ultimately regrets telling the police he shot her.

On Wednesday we reported that the district attorney’s office was considering bringing charges against Tory for his alleged involvement in the shooting. Now that Meg will likely be a cooperating witness, this may expedite that process. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
