Megan Thee Stallion is standing by her performance at VP Kamala Harris’ Atlanta rally earlier this week. The Houston rapper addressed critics while performing at Chicago’s annual Lollapalooza on Thursday night (August 1).
Fan account Stallion Access on X (formerly Twitter) shared a snippet of Megan’s headliner performance. During a moment in her set, Megan said folks were feeling “fake mad” for how she popped out for Kamala Harris on Tuesday (July 30).
“They was fake mad that I was popping it for Kamala,” Meg said at Lollapalooza. “Ion think they heard what she said. Kamala said she want a ceasefire [between Hamas and Israel]. Kamala said she support women’s rights, Kamala said y’all tired of them high a*s gas prices…said ‘I’m for the people.'”
Thee Stallion said that, unlike at the Atlanta rally, she didn’t come to Lollapalooza to give her stans a “light twerk.” “I’m giving y’all my hardest twerk in the motherf**king rain ’cause I want the Hotties to have a good motherf**king time,” Megan added.
“I want the Hotties to do what the f**k they wanna do, when the f**k they wanna do it,” Megan said. “I want the Hotties to be bad b****es all the time. I just wanted to pop my sh*t real quick…Hotties for Harris,” Megan shouted into the mic as the crowd gotextra loud!
For context, at the Atlanta rally, Thee Stallion performed hits like ‘Girls In The Hood.’ She took the stage wearing a bright, navy blue pantsuit paired with a cropped jacket, a cropped white shirt underneath, and a long blue tie.
While the ‘fit was much more conservative than her usual risqu looks from her tour, her light twerking and song choices caused an uproar online.
Kamala Harris’ Atlanta rally aside, Megan Thee Stallion also had the Hotties turnt when Angel Reese surprised her on stage.
The Chicago Sky baller reportedly recently returned to the U.S. after attending the Paris Olympics to support Team USA in the women’s basketball competitions.
Reese had Megan gagged — mouth wide open –when she slid onto the stage to embrace the Houston Hottie. “What the f**k,” Meg yelled into the mic before telling the DJ to run the music and twerking on Reese.
