Mendeecees is going viral following a revelation he shared about his relationship and union with Yandy Smith.
Earlier this week, the Streetz 94.5 radio show shared a clip of Mendeecees appearing as a guest via Instagram. In the footage, Mendeecees addressed the recent cheating rumors surrounding him, explaining that his actions are always “appropriate” for his status. Ultimately, he shared that he and Yandy “are not together.”
Additionally, he even revealed that they were “never legally married.” Therefore, their split won’t be complicated by the division of their assets. Despite this, Mendeecees noted that his and Smith’s 2015 ‘Love & Hip Hop’ wedding was not a ploy for TV. They just ultimately decided “not to sign the papers,” due to his previous legal situations, and things “just stayed that way.”
To note, even with his surprising update on his relationship with Smith, Mendeecees also acknowledged that Smith made him into the man he is today.

As The Shade Room previously reported, in October, Mendeecees shared an update on his and Yandy Smith’s relationship. At the time, he noted that they were “putting in the work to be in a better space.” Furthermore, his statement arrived amid the cheating rumors, and Smith admitting that she had an emotional connection outside of Mendeecees.
Then, earlier this month, Funky Dineva accused Mendeecees and Tamar Braxton of “sneaking and dealing” with each other, per The Shade Room. Specifically, he alleged that he saw Mendeecees and Braxton kiss, and that Mendeecees accompanied Braxton to her apartment.
In turn, Braxton denied Dineva’s claims. But he doubled down, alleging that he wasn’t the only one who had receipts. Ultimately, during his appearance on Streetz 94.5, Mendeecees addressed Dineva’s claims, seemingly denying that he had anything more than a platonic relationship with Braxton.
