Whew chile, Donnie’s former lawyer #MichaelChoen just dropped a BOMB! Today he pled guilty to campaign finance fraud and admitted he arranged payments to two women as hush money for their alleged affairs with President Trump, according to @NYTimes.
Along with his admission, Mr. Cohen also pled guilty to multiple counts of tax evasion and bank fraud. He admitted to a judge the payments he arranged were “at the direction of the candidate” aka Donnie. One of the women was #StormyDaniels who reportedly got $130K in exchange for her silence.
In related news, Trumps campaign manager #PaulManafort was also convicted in his financial trial where he’s been found guilty of hiding millions of dollars in foreign accounts to evade taxes. Paul is currently facing up to 30 years in prison for each count (there are 8 in total).
