It’s no secret that Mike Epps and Kevin Hart aren’t too fond of each other, but it looks like we finally might have an answer #Roommates. Mike sat down with the hosts of theĀ @BreakfastClub and spilled the tea about their on and off again relationship. Back in September, Kevin basically insinuated that good ole’ Mike is jealous of his career.
“This is the thing about that whole situation. This is a lifetime achievement for all of us. And I think that some of us, when we get success we turn into the police. When you have a platform, where you can speak on things ā Ā everybody loves a winner. Thatās the thing about when youāre winning, you donāt know who is really on your side, they just riding for you. And if you have a platform over everybody else, itās easy for you to make things the way you want them to look.”
Mike was asked if he felt like Kevin should give him his props, and he had a lot to say.
“I donāt think he owes me none of that. Nobody owes [anyone] respect. I just think, if youāre in a position of power, you canāt be a gatekeeper; you canāt be the police; you canāt like a victim. Every time, and people can have an opinion about you. Just because youāre the CEO of something or if you have more than the next person, that doesnāt mean that a person canāt have an opinion about you. Everybody is not going to like you, and you canāt be upset with everybody for not liking you. If Iām that kind of position, I donāt have anything to say! Not with that kind of money!”
According toĀ @TheJasmineBrand, the two had put their beef to rest back in 2017. Earlier this year, Mike shaded Kevin when he made a comment about “how he thinks everyĀ other comedian is funnierĀ than Hart.” Everything seemed good until last month, where they were at each otherās throats online.
