Miley Cyrus Reflects On Career During Emotional Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony
On Friday, May 22, Miley Cyrus received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with loved ones by her side. The singer posed for photos with her mom, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, and sister, Brandi Cyrus. She also shared cozy moments in front of the star with boyfriend Maxx Morando.
Friends, including actress Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace, appeared as guest speakers during the ceremony.
During her speech, Cyrus reflected on the significance of receiving the honor:
“What feels so special to me about this star is that it’s an accumulation of devotion,” she said. “The star isn’t something that you win like a seasonal game. It’s not something that you can chase or collect. It’s not something you make the next record for and then tote it around like a trophy. My name is laid in gold and pink terrazzo.”
Cyrus became the 2,845th celebrity to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The honor also arrived shortly after the pop icon celebrated the 20th anniversary of ‘Hannah Montana,’ the hit Disney Channel series that helped launch her career.

Alongside a throwback photo of himself riding a motorcycle with a young Miley on the back, he wrote:
