When they arrived at the location near 27th and Silver Spring around 1:36 a.m., they called in fire crews to help force the unit open. Inside, they didn’t just find two children as initially believed. They discovered six, including a 2-month-old baby, with the oldest being just 9 years old. While none of the kids were physically harmed, the discovery has sparked outrage and deep concern across the community.
Two Adults In Custody As Questions Pop Up
The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed the arrest of two adults—Charles Albert Dupriest, 33, and Azyia C. Zielinski, 26—in connection with the incident. The district attorney’s office is currently reviewing charges as the investigation remains active.
