Over the years fans have watched the relationship between Mimi Faust and Ty Young blossom. However, word on the street has been that the two have gone their separate ways. During a recent Instagram Live, someone asked Mimi what happened between the two of them, and she talked about their decision to end their relationship.
On Thursday, Mimi held another “Margaritas With Mimi,” segment on her Instagram, and when a fan asked about their split, Mimi said. “In relationships, people grow apart, they grow different, they want different things, and you know that’s what happened. We’re still friends, we still communicate.”
The fan then talked about her own personal relationship and said that her ex cheated on her, and that is when Mimi made it clear that there was no cheating in her relationship with Ty.
“There was no cheating going on in this relationship at all,” said Mimi. “It was all respect, but we just…people grow in different directions.”
As we previously reported, after years of dating, Ty and Mimi announced that they were engaged last summer. They shared a photo of their hands where the words “She said yes!!!” Was written on Ty’s hand, while Mimi showed off a beautiful rock on her left hand.”
Throughout their relationship, Ty also became involved in Mimi’s daughter’s life as well.
As you all know, Mimi shares her daughter Eva Giselle Jordan with Stevie J, and their family dynamic had been shown on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” several times.
Ty Young has yet to formally speak out about her and Mimi’s split.
