Missy Elliott, 51, is turning heads on social media with fans comparing her latest look to City Girls rapper Yung Miami.
The Grammy-winning artist celebrated her nomination for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this week, although that’s not the only thing that has people talking. Elliott tweeted about her emotions, saying,

Missy and Caresha, 28, have actually collaborated in the past. In 2021, the Supa Dupa Fly rapper directed the official ‘Twekulator’ video for The City Girls. However, the Miami rapper has not yet commented on internet chatter from fans comparing her and Missy Elliott.

Missy, Lil Wayne & Dr. Dre Honored In Pre-Grammy Event
Adding to her eventful week, Missy joined the likes of Lil Wayne and Dr. Dre as they were honored for their musical achievements during a pre-Grammys event. The acts received a Global Impact Award.
Elliott’s emotional speech honoring Sylvia Rhone, a music executive and CEO of Epic Records, moved some members of the audience to tears, CBS reported. The four-time Grammy winner praised Rhone for seeing potential in her, despite her own doubts. Rhone, known as one of the most influential executives in the industry, made history in 1994 as the first-ever woman and only African American to hold the titles of chairman and CEO of Elektra Entertainment Group.
