Lala Milan and Tyler Parker are three days into parenting outside the bump! On Thursday (Jan. 25), the comedian revealed she gave birth to her first child on Jan. 22. The couple welcomed a son.
In a lengthy Instagram caption, Lala explained her labor process, thanked her support team, and gushed about her activated mommy mode!
Twelve-hour labor aside, Lala Milan said her son “arrived safely.”
“Im officially a WHOLE MOM!! God is amazing I watched myself give birth in the mirror while being surrounded by so much love Ive always known that I wanted to be a mom, but this feeling is still so surreal I just be looking at him like, wow u really slid outta me?!”
Lala didn’t name-drop her little one. However, her fans were extra gassed by the touching photos she shared. The first-time mommy didn’t hold back!
She shared herself before and after labor and a first look at her son’s face. In other photos, Tyler cradled his baby boy. Lala’s mother also held her grandchild in one picture.

In her caption, Lala Milan took some time to thank her village, from her son’s dad Tyler to her medical team. Her mother, in particular, got extra love for a major sacrifice she made.
“To my village, thank y’all so much. @iamtylerp_ I love you baby & thanks for giving me a whole new purpose in life. @theauntiedoula Thanks for making our birth process even smoother by advocating for us before, during, and even now after birth. @itsthesamechristine Ma, I love you. Thanks for literally selling your house and moving across the country to come be my nanny. Lastly, to Dr. Nikki Genius of USC Keck you are EVERYTHING. Were so grateful for you .”
As previously reported, Lala Milan and Tyler revealed they were expecting in October. At the time, Lala told Essence she felt “amazing…excited” about the new journey.
The 34-year-old also clarified that she and Tyler had known each other for a minute. When she became pregnant, they had been dating for about a year and a half.
