In the resurface clip, she dishes out some no-nonsense wisdom to Shannon Sharpe about his dating preferences. At this time, the clip has gone viral as Mo’s warning has seemed to ring true amid Sharpe being accused of sexual assault with a $50 million lawsuit from a young woman.
In the viral moment, MoNique sits down with Shannon Sharpe and doesnt hold back when it comes to giving him some good ol fashioned life advice. With her signature realness, the Oscar-winning actress tells Shannon he needs to quit chasing younger women and find himself an older woman who knows how to take care of a grown man.

The sports podcaster’s alleged dating history has been making waves in the news. As previously reported by The Shade Room, Shannon Sharpe is facing serious allegations after a woman initially identified as Jane Doe filed a $50 million lawsuit in Nevada on April 20. The suit accuses him of assault, sexual battery, and emotional abuse during what she described as a rocky relationship.
The woman, reportedly 30 years younger than Sharpe, claims he recorded their intimate moments without consent and shared them. She says after trying to end things in late 2024, Sharpe allegedly continued to pursue her and raped her twice in October and again in January 2025. The lawsuit also alleges he threatened physical harm during the relationship.
To date, Shannon Sharpe has denied the accusations, with his legal team releasing NSFW texts from the accuser, seemingly showing that their relationship was consensual, per The Shade Room.
Back in September 2024, The Shade Room also covered how Shannon mistakenly went viral for going live on Instagram during an intimate moment with an alleged younger, mystery woman. The then-viral clips, which surfaced on September 11 across social platforms, featured audio of moaning and sexual conversation but no visuals of the individuals involved. While a post from his account initially claimed hed been hacked, Sharpe later clarified on his ‘Night Cap’ podcast with Chad Ochocinco that it was, in fact, him in the video and that the account wasnt compromised. Admitting he felt embarrassed and disappointed in himself, Sharpe emphasized his usual efforts to stay professional, even in private.
