Katt Williams might’ve stirred the pot at the top of this year with his viral Shannon Sharpe interview, but behind the scenes, he’s outchea doing good deeds and supporting those in need. In her own interview with Sharpe, Ms. Pat shared that Katt stepped in and helped her cover the costs of her father’s funeral expenses.

Ms. Pat Reflects On Katt Williams’ Kindness After Her Father’s Passing
Ms. Pat recently opened up to Shannon Sharpe about the time she lost her father while touring with Katt Williams. She said that Katt overheard her talking about funeral plans and came back with a stack of cash to help out.
“He said go bury your daddy and come back. I was blown away! It was a couple [thousand] dollars,” Ms. Pat explained.
The stand-up comedian also revealed she didn’t know Katt personally before the tour. Additionally, she shared that she tried to pay him back, but he refused.
“And I tried to pay it back and he said, ‘you don’t owe me nothing.’ I always tell him thank you, because he didn’t have to do that. In this world, in this game, there ain’t a lot of people that will do that,” Ms. Pat continued.
During her chat with Shannon Sharpe, Ms. Pat continued praising Katt Williams. She shared that, despite helping with her father’s funeral expenses, he still made sure she was paid for her work on the tour.
“He didn’t take it out of my pay. He still [paid] me,” she added.
Pat also told Sharpe that Katt is one of the “caring” comics in the industry, though people have their opinions of him after his viral interview.
