After a year and a half of marriage, Mustard has called it quits and filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Chanel McFarlane. According to TMZ, Mustard, born Dijon McFarlane filed against Chanel Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Monday is also the date of separation.
The estranged couple share three children together—Kauner, Kylan, and Kody. Reports state the super-producer and DJ is asking for joint legal and physical custody. It is unclear if the 10 Summers record owner is offering spousal support, but a prenup has been put in place. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he is reportedly worth $8 Million. The estranged couple jumped the broom in October 2020 and had been together for over a decade before the fame.
If you recall, in October 2018, Chanel posted a lengthy message showing off her $500,000 custom Elliante engagement ring and penned a note detailing the love she had for Mustard, which goes back to the age of 16! “I knew when I met you at 16. It was something about you about us. I didn’t want to mess up. You stayed my friend even tho we both wanted to be more… We were scared,” she wrote. “I didn’t want things to go left. We remained really good friends as we watched each other go through failed relationships. Finally, after three years, we decided to take a step out on fate and date.”
While the divorce filing is shocking, Chanel may have dropped hints of trouble in the water. Chanel wasn’t sporting her huge wedding ring in her most recent pictures on the ‘gram!
