Nelly recently checked a social media critic while keeping his pearly whites on display! The ‘Country Grammar’ artist clapped back after the Instagram user hit him with a “Poor Ashanti” note, all because he was kicking it on live!
Chilling on Instagram Live isn’t unusual for Nelly, who’s even done so with his reported wife, Ashanti. And yes, WIFE is her status in his life as of December 27, 2023, according to a marriage certificate TMZ secured last week.
As mentioned, though, the St. Louis rapper often enjoys a lil’ kiki-ing on the ‘gram with his four million followers. Early Thursday (June 27), a stan account for the couple shared snippets from his overnight live session.
The rapper was seemingly chilling on a bus and reading his livestream comments. Ashanti, who isverypregnant right now, didn’t appear in his online moment. According to Nelly, one viewer commented, “He drunk as usual, it’s bedtime. Poor Ashanti. He ghetto, coming on live doing this. Shame on you.”
“Coming on live doing what?” Nelly asked with a laugh. “I can’t play music? Let me tell you something shawty, she straight, and she encourage just my happiness. That’s why we together, like I encourage hers. Whatever makes her happy, she kick in. Whatever makes me happy, I kick in. So, know that, so you ain’t gotta ‘poor her.’ Might be poor you. Hope your sh*t together, ” he clapped back with another laugh.

They rekindled their early 2000s flame in 2023 and are now expecting their first little one together. Similarly to how she CARRIES in a bikini, ‘shanti has been rocking her baby bump with an undeniable glow, even continuing her now-paused performances with ease!
