Whew, chileeee! The internet is dragging Nelly after news dropped that he would be one of the performers at Donald Trump’s official inaugural ball on Monday, January 20.
On Friday, January 17, CBS reporter Taurean Smalls hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and revealed that Nelly would reportedly hit the stage at Trump’s Liberty Ball on Monday night. According to CBS News, the ‘Hot In Herre’ rapper will be joining performers like Carrie Underwood, Christopher Macchio, and The Village People, who’ll be taking the stage with ‘Y.M.C.A.’
As of now, Nelly hasn’t said a word about his performance or responded to the news. However, social media users haven’t hesitated to chew him up about it.
