Nene Leakes Says She Thinks Wendy Williams' Ex-Husband Blocked Her Potential Talk Show

Nene Leakes Says She Thinks Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband Blocked Her Potential Talk Show

Nene Leakes was the latest guest to visit the most dangerous morning show, “The Breakfast Club.” During her interview, she talked about the ladies of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” her different business ventures, her family and more.

During the interview, Charlamagne Tha God brought up that Nene Leakes had a talk show in the works some time ago, but the show had been blocked and never happened.

Charlamagne mentioned that the show was supposed to be with Debmar Mercury, who also produces “The Wendy Williams Show,” and said that Wendy Williams and her now ex-husband Kevin Hunter blocked the show from happening.

Although she looked like she didn’t want to talk about the situation, Nene did confirm she did think that they blocked her show but specifically said she did think that Kevin Hunter had something to do with it.

Now we all know that after knowing each other for some years, Nene and Wendy have repaired their relationship, and they are now good friends. However, Nene did say they have never talked about the situation. Although Nene said she is not opposed to talking to Wendy about anything, she said the situation is old and they have both moved on.

Nene said, “I’ve moved on, she’s moved on. She’s not with Kev anymore, I thought he was toxic for her. I’m sure he was the person to go and get it stopped. Like it’s either her or Wendy. They already had money in Wendy, the show was already on. So they made the right choice in my eyes, I would have done the same thing, if I already know this show is successful, I would just stick with the show that’s already successful.”
