While the 30-day free trial may be canceled, it seems you can still watch select content without a subscription, according to Deadline. Titles like “Bird Box” and pilot episodes of “Stranger Things” were posted on the site in August and are free.

A spokesperson for the company told Verge, “We’re looking at different marketing promotions in the US to attract new members.”

Disney Plus also offered free trials, when it launched in November of 2019. But discontinued that offer in June of 2020.

Apple just extended its free trial period for Apple TV by three months until Feb 2021.

Ooohhwwweee! Netflix wildin’!
