Y’all ready for some hard facts? According to NBC News, Survey Monkey, and Esquire online poll, of the 50+% of angry Americans, whites and Republicans are the angriest.
NBC News reports that 49 percent of Americans said they find themselves feeling angrier now about current events than they were one year ago. “Whites are the angriest.” 54 percent of them surveyed they have grown more outraged over the past year. Which ended up being more than Latinos (43%) AND Blacks (33%).
In fact, 73% of whites said they get angry at least once per day which trumps both the 66% of Hispanics and 56% of blacks.
Would y’all be surprised that Republicans are more angry with the current events from the last year than Democrats? More specifically events revolving around Congressional dysfunction and consumer fraud, while democrats name police brutality and shootings toward unarmed black men.
The numbers suggest the responses from whites trump other races all across the board. 58% of white women polled angrier than the 44% of non-white women.
To end the number game, 52% of the country feels “the American Dream” is no longer a “thing.” And guess who that 52% mostly consisted of? Americans between the ages of 45 and 64 who are contemplating retirement.
