All you “Empire” fans guess who is coming back to play this summer??!! The Starz original series, “Power” has just dropped its trailer and I’m sorry it’s looking like 50 Cent is giving us LIFE.
It seems like the night club owner who is also the head of a lucrative drug kingpin, James “Ghost” St. Patrick, who is played by Omari Hardwick, just keeps getting in his own way as he tries to amp up his illegal business productivity to one day live his dream on the top of the world, legally that is. He wants to one day leave the drug game alone but leave it up to a man to get weakened by his heart as he tries to balance out his relationship with his wife,Tasha played by Naturi Naughton as well as with his first love Angela Valdez played by Lela Loran.
Little does he know Angela isn’t the same girl that he thought he first fell in love with. Ghost is now racing against time to save himself and his family from not only the feds, but also from Tommy (Joseph Sikora) who keeps trying to keep Ghost in the drug game and Kanan, aka 50 Cent, an old friend who was recently released from jail and is now on the hunt for revenge. Ghost is surrounded by a bunch of frenemies he doesn’t even know he has!
The action packed trailer shows a lot of guns,drugs, sex, money, and let’s not forget betrayal because with friends like his who needs enemies? The show’s plot twist seems like it will have everyone at the edge of their seats after every episode!
